Issue Advocacy

Since 2008, we have worked intimately with ONE to stage advocacy trips to Africa. ONE is a grassroots advocacy and campaigning organization that fights extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa, by raising public awareness and pressuring political leaders to support smart and effective policies and programs that are saving lives, helping to put kids in school and improving futures.

Our Work

ONE stages high-profile advocacy trips throughout sub-Saharan, eastern, and southern Africa where U.S. and international stakeholders interact with on-the-ground leaders, implementers, and other “real” people through often-touching and moving experiences. We have managed the logistics for a two-week, multi-country advocacy delegation through Sub-Saharan Africa with Bono and other select ONE supporters and advocates in 2010. We also managed ONE’s Campus Challenge Youth Leaders’ trip to Rwanda that year. Going back, we’ve brought the One2One Women Leaders delegation through Africa in 2009 with Cindy McCain, Dana Perino, and Connie Britton, amongst others. And in 2008, we led the ONE Vote 08 Chairs (Tom Daschle and Bill Frist) on an on-the-ground tour through Rwanda.

On these trips, we are responsible for the A-to-Z logistics: everything we’ve detailed above from acquiring and hiring local transportation to planning and catering meals for the attendees to consulting with local NGOs and embassy staff to set up site visits and clinic tours. We’ve done it all and we have the experience in shape your unique vision and do it for YOU.
