Bloomberg Philanthropies: From The Ashes Film Tour

Bloomberg Philanthropies approached The Markham Group to produce a six-week, fifteen-city, six-country screening tour of their yet-to-be-released documentary, “From the Ashes,” leading up to the film’s world premiere on National Geographic. Each screening would include a reception component, film screening and panel discussion. The screenings would take place in a variety of venues ranging from cultural centers, historic theaters and rooftops, while maintaining a true theater experience for the audience with consistent branding, messaging, and production value across the tour.

Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential Campaign

Throughout the 2016 U.S. Presidential Campaign cycle, the Markham Group was honored to produce Secretary Clinton’s public events in her bid for the Presidency. Beginning with her official announcement on Roosevelt Island and spanning through election night at the Jacob Javits Center, Markham’s production team served an integral role in the success of the campaign’s events.

Hiring Our Heroes

Hiring Our Heroes (HOH) launched in March 2011, and it was only a few months later when the U.S. Chamber of Commerce came to The Markham Group looking for help with their nascent philanthropy organization. HOH makes meaningful career connections between tens of thousands of service members, veterans, and military spouses and employers worldwide. HOH and The Markham Group continue to work together on dozens of events every year and have partnered with multiple federal agencies, state-level agencies in all 50 states, and all branches of the US military.

ESPN 30 for 30: This Was the XFL

The Markham Group was engaged by ESPN (The Walt Disney Company) to design and produce a pop up hall of fame commemorating the XFL, it’s players and cheerleaders, and the premiere of the 30 for 30 documentary on the former football league, “This Was the XFL.” We were charged with bringing together a comprehensive event where guests could enjoy the hall of fame experience, gain an understanding about the XFL and its history, and see the documentary, all in one space in New York City.
